Day 1: Entebbe to Bwindi
- Transfer: By Car To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Departure: Hotel in Entebbe

- Equator - Kayabwe For Water Experiment
- Mbarara For Lunch and Refreshments.
Start your day with a heavy breakfast at the hotel before a meet and greet session where you will also be briefed about the tour by your guide. Embark on the 8 to 10 hour drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest, the home of the endangered mountain gorillas.
The next stopover is in Mbarara town for lunch and refreshments.
Proceed to the Park for check in and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
- Early morning breakfast & ranger briefing
- Gorilla trekking (30 minutes to 5 hours)
- Face-to-face encounter with mountain gorillas
- Evening visit to Batwa pygmies & local communities
- Dinner and overnight at the lodge
This is the day that marks the climax of this tour. Early wake up for breakfast and ensure you put on appropriate clothing plus a sturdy pair of shoes to brave the cold and wet weather in the forest as well the roughness of the jungle. We report to the rangers post for a briefing before entering the forest to begin trekking the gorillas.
It may take you between 30 minutes to 5 hours to meet the Gorilla family after trekking up and down the slopes of the hills braving the heavy undergrowth. Its a breath taking experience when you are finally in the presence of these amazing apes; watching them communicate, laugh, play, feed etc in the comfort of their family setting.
In the evening, visit the Batwa pygmies who were the original inhabitants of Bwindi forest as well as a few communities of the local tribe.

Day 3: Transfer Back to Entebbe
- Breakfast and lodge check-out
- Stopover for lunch & craft shopping at Igongo Cultural Centre
- Scenic drive via Kampala to Entebbe
This is the final day of this tour when we check out after breakfast and start out to drive back. Stopover for lunch and craft shopping at Igongo Cultural centre.
Proceed via Kampala to drop-off at the hotel in Entebbe
